Pirates IN the Caribbean Party

Back

After dinner, the party moved up to the 9th and 10th decks around the Goofy Family Pool

After dinner in Animators Pallet, people started finding their way up to the deck around the Goofy Pool on Deck 9.

This pool is special because the deck closes over the  water and it becomes a great dance floor.

Lead by Chip and Dale, the party begins.  The fun continues for a while as the crowds grow, then at exactly the right moment, the pirates attack.

Lead by Captain Hook, his crew swings high above the pool deck between the two stacks of the ship and descend right in front of the jumbo-tron, the huge screen that shows movies and programming most of the day.

Eventually the whole 'bad guy' crew ends up on stage and  characters like Mr Smee and the alien Stitch run riot over the stage, leading the

crowds in their own versions of the dances that are popular throughout the cruise.

It is a lot of fun, truly a night to look forward to.

Finally, in an act of heroism, Mickey Mouse himself follows the same trail of the pirates,

swinging from one stack to the other and putting an end to the pirates run of things on stage.

The whole coup comes to the final stages when they fire a large confetti canon at the pirates.  This is followed by a fireworks display fired from above Palos; a display that holds the signature that Disney is so famous for.

Of course, the party ends with everyone getting along and the party winds down with everyone smiling and ready to relax in front of the silver screen  both of the first two movies of the Pirates in the Caribbean trilogy were put on for the evening, one on the JumboTron and the other in the  largest Walt Disney Theater and the smaller movie theater later in the evening.
