Living on the Seine in Paris France

That is pronouced 'SAN' in American English
On our trip to Paris we made a last minute decision to take a river boat tour around the down town area.  Adults were 11 Euro and children were only 6 Euro.

I had never been on one of these and for some stupid reason I always resisted on previous trips, but that day we were running ahead of schedule for the day and we were right there.  I think Jennifer wanted to go and I know the boys wanted to sit down for a while.  

One thing that captured my attention was the people that lived on the river.  All along the river in certain places, dozens of converted barges were moored and you could see that people actively lived on them.  It was fun to see the custom jobs that had been done on some of the boats and all the amenities that were included on others.

Below are a number of images I took from that trip of these living homes.  Also included is a photo of what our tour guide called the smallest home in Paris
