Definitely THE way to go!!!

In preparation for our stay in Paris, we investigated staying at a hotel and discovered that it was very hard to find a place  that was not triple our budget for the stay.

We ended up getting an incredible apartment from Gail Boisclair at Perfectly Paris rentals.  She has a large selection of apartments in the Montmartre region of Paris.

She was a delight to work with while planning our stay, always responding quickly to every question we had. We used email to communicate and I always had an answer from her within a business day of asking.  That was great taking into account the 7 hour difference from Texas to Paris.

She knows her city, too.  When we arrived, there was a great three ring binder in the apartment with an abundance of accurate information on places to go and things to do.

Once, I could not get the Internet access to work. The person who met us at the apartment upon arrival had given me instructions, but I heard, but did not listen to her carefully enough and had to call Gail to remind me. Gail was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be done and gave me the two second solution right away.

All in all, she made our stay so very easy in everything she did for us while we were there.

I was planning to get photos of our 1 bedroom apartment, but failed at that task.  Fortunately, there are a lot of great photos on her site which she has allowed me to place here.  In particular, we stayed at her Artist Corner.  It was situated in the heart of residential Paris and VERY convenient to all the food markets we could need.

There is even a fantastic pizza place a block away.  Walk down the hill and turn left at the corner.  You can not miss it.

The apartment is also a very short walk to the bus stop that will get you right down into Paris.  It was Very convenient!
